Our Workforce
 
 
We are justifiably proud of our workforce.  To ensure the very best results, we employ joiners, plumbers and bricklayers.  When required, we compliment our own workforce from a pool of reliable, tried and tested sub-contractors undertaking electrics, roofing, plastering and tiling.

All our employees are well trained and motivated by the same values and ethics as the directors of the company, as it is only by handpicking top quality, dedicated workers that we can guarantee top quality results for our customers.  And through our Investors in People program, we spend the time and effort required to ensure our employees are safe and happy in their work.

It is easy to spot one of our employees as they all wear company polo shirts and sweatshirts bearing their own names as well as ours.  They all carry ID cards, too, so our customers are 100% sure exactly who they are admitting to their homes. 

Customers need not worry about time keeping either.  Our fleet of smart, clean vehicles are all fitted with trackers, so we know exactly where each one is at all times.

 

 


The Management Team

The management team is made up of Richard, Denis and Kerry Gibson.  Together, they oversee the running of the company from planning work in, bringing in new business and looking after our people, through to the day to day running of the jobs and of course keeping an eye on the money!

Richard Gibson
The founder of the Company back in 1996, Richard’s role as Contracts Manager is to oversee the smooth running of each job from commencement through to completion.  Richard uses his extensive experience of the Construction Industry to ensure a consistently high quality job with the highest standards of workmanship, delivered on time and within budgets.  Richard is married to Kerry, Gibson’s Company Secretary, and both are long time bike racing fans.  When they can find time they marshal at British Superbikes and have also marshalled at World Superbikes and Moto GP along with the occasional club meeting.  Richard and Kerry also both own their own bikes for use on the road when time allows a break from the business.
 
Denis Gibson
In his role as Managing Director, Denis has overall responsibility for Tendering, Health and Safety and Environmental Issues.  Denis is able to use his 32 years experience of working in Local Government in both Private Sector Housing and Business Management to ensure that we meet all the expectations of our clients and their customers; in fact everyone involved in working in local authority buildings, be they schools, libraries or individual homes needing adaptations for the disabled.  Denis is married to Lynda and they have six children and six grandchildren.  Denis is a keen gardener and loves holidaying in his caravan with the family.
 
Kerry Gibson
Kerry joined the team in 2002.  She is the Company Secretary and officer manager, looking after the back-office and administration for the Company.  Kerry deals with enquiries from customers, suppliers and sub-contractors as well as looking after the HR function of the company and overseeing the finances.  With Richard, she enjoys bike racing, marshalling and riding and taking Charlie the dog for long walks. Kerry and Richard have one young son, Jack.
